Felt & Fabric Santa Advent Calendar Days 1-24
This is a handmade advent calendar on Santa's belly! Santa is triangular shaped ish, made out of, white, green, and black felt. A beige fabric with blue eyes. It appears that the previous owners added black around his eyebrows and gave him beautifully long eyelashes. Damn, Santa. I had no idea!
Santa is definitely a little bit worn. You can tell that he was displayed every Christmas in one family's life. Perhaps more than one? Maybe he was passed down. We have no idea, you and I. I was just lucky enough to come across him and I saved him for you!
On Santa's big belly, he has 24 little pockets, each with the number 1 through 24 and it's own graphic image. The fabric used to make the pockets is a simple, red, and woven.
It appears that each image was screen printed onto the fabric, which is identifiable on some images where the registration doesn't quite align. In The Artful accumulator's opinion, that makes it even more special. Each image is unique, with the exception of days one and day 23. . On the 23rd, he has a red rope. Mini Santa is pulling a sleigh filled with gifts, toys and a Christmas tree that extends into number 24.
The Artful accumulator has made several repairs which will be shown in the pictures. You will see the original version and then the repaired.
